Aira’s mission is to empower people to join the clean energy revolution, one home at a time.

The challenge? Introducing heat pumps into a category full of myths, misconceptions, and a healthy dose of scepticism. This wasn’t just a sales problem — it was an education problem. One of the loudest myths was simple (and brutal): heat pumps are ugly. Aira set out to prove the opposite, using its Swedish heritage to design a product with a clean, confident Scandinavian aesthetic. The solution was to stop hiding the tech and put it front and centre.

For Aira’s first year, the heat pump became the hero — featured proudly across everything from billboards to digital, helping shift perceptions and build early category awareness. This is technology designed to be seen, not tucked away in a cupboard.

I worked across everything from billboard to button, brand to commercial, and hired a team of designers and writers. Helping shape how Aira introduced heat pumps to a new audience.

The D(og)OOH campaign sprang from a barking-mad idea: give people what they didn’t know they wanted — a heating analogy in dog form. Silly? Maybe. Effective? Absolutely. During its short run, it boosted ad performance across the general mix.

From Door Drops, to PR reports to ID cards, we printed it all whilst maintaining environmental standards. And paid media campaigns that were always informed by performance metrics.

Manifesto video

We brought our manifesto to life; incorporating eye-opening stock footage, shots from our testimonials, our products, and infographics. The combination of visual communication delivered both the storytelling, and impact we were after.

Organic Social

We brought our social channels to life by exploring a range of educational content, mixed some playful moments (AI knitted heat pump and some ABBA puns – why not).
